Job Duties

  • Design and implement highly complex metrics and scenarios for self-driving simulations using Python and specialized data analytics libraries.
  • Analyze sensor data (lidar, radar, cameras) with a deep understanding of sensor limitations and biases to accurately reflect real-world driving conditions in simulations.
  • Validate algorithms and ensure robust performance across a wide range of diverse scenarios through realistic simulation testing.
  • Mine and analyze massive datasets generated by simulations using Python and cutting-edge libraries like pandas and Spark.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods tailored to self-driving data to extract meaningful and actionable insights for algorithm improvement (e.g., anomaly detection, pattern recognition, causal analysis).
  • Identify and diagnose subtle anomalies and patterns in sensor data and simulation results to pinpoint specific areas for algorithm improvement and optimize driving performance.
  • Design and develop custom data visualization dashboards using Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, Jupyter) to communicate complex findings and insights to diverse stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Manage enormous data storage infrastructure (e.g., Clickhouse, PostgreSQL) and implement state-of-the-art data validation techniques to ensure data integrity and reliability for accurate analysis.
  • Create and maintain efficient and scalable data warehouses for efficient data analysis and retrieval.
  • Develop and implement innovative machine learning models specifically designed for self-driving simulation data analysis, including the prediction of future behavior under various conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders across disciplines to define and refine simulation scenarios, analyze results, and implement improvements.
  • Track and measure the performance of self-driving algorithms through rigorous analysis of simulation data, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Proactively identify and analyze potential safety hazards within simulated scenarios, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of new data analysis methods and techniques specifically tailored for self-driving simulation technology.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Management, or a closely related technical field. Foreign equivalent is accepted.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis with a strong focus on self-driving simulation technology.
  • Expert proficiency in Python programming and a comprehensive understanding of advanced data analytics libraries (pandas, Spark, etc.).
  • Extensive expertise in statistical methods specifically designed for self-driving simulation data analysis.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing custom data visualization dashboards using Python and modern data visualization tools.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with self-driving technology processes, algorithms, and sensor systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively present complex findings and insights to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges related to self-driving simulation data analysis.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
