About the Role
We are seeking a Frontend Senior Software Engineer to design and develop advanced HMI interfaces for self-driving vehicles. In this role, you will create dynamic, high-performance interfaces that assist safety engineers and QA teams with testing and operations while also delivering intuitive, engaging experiences for passengers. Your work will ensure that both safety-critical functions and user-friendly features are seamlessly integrated into our interfaces inside the car.
What You'll Do
- Design and Develop HMI Interfaces
- Build interactive, robust interfaces for internal use to simplify testing and operational tasks.
- Develop engaging passenger interfaces that communicate real-time information, providing clear insights into the vehicle’s surroundings.
- Enhance In-Car Visualization
- Improve 3D visualization to accurately represent the external environment as seen by the vehicle.
- Optimize graphical performance to support complex visual data in real-time
- Collaborate Across Functions
- Work closely with product managers, safety experts, QA professionals, and data engineering teams to define interface requirements.
- Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and rigorous testing, ensuring the interfaces not only look great but also perform reliably in mission-critical settings.
What You'll Need
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React. Demonstrable experience building scalable, maintainable front-end applications.
- Algorithmic Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to write effective and efficient algorithms to tackle complex challenges, ensuring optimal performance in dynamic and data-intensive environments.
- Three.js or another 3d libraries expertise. Strong background in 3D graphics programming for interactive data visualization.
- Strong Collaboration & Communication Skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend teams.
Nice to Have
- Python/C++ Development. Basic understanding of collaborating effectively with backend or data engineering teams.
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure. Experience deploying and managing front-end applications in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
